Job summary

Alliance of Hazardous Materials Professionals seeks a Gas Operations Technician I to operate and maintain landfill gas collection and control systems (GCCS) and ensure compliance with environmental regulations. The role involves data collection, calibration of instruments, and on-site maintenance in field settings.

The candidate should be prepared for on-call responses, basic data entry, and working with PVC/HDPE piping. Training in GCCS and safety protocols is provided as part of the position.

Qualifications

• Valid and unrestricted driver\'s license required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain GCCS to meet regulatory compliance and performance.
• Calibrate and operate data collection devices for LFG.
• Collect data from wellfield locations and manage entries.
• Follow preventative maintenance plan and safety procedures.
• Respond on-call to GCCS malfunctions.
