Job summary

NextEra Energy Resources, LLC is seeking a Wellfield Technician II to support GCCS design, operations, and management for U.S. landfills subject to NSPS requirements.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, regulatory awareness, and the ability to read GCCS plans, manuals, and schematics; safety compliance and accurate record-keeping are essential. On-site work in California with potential for field collaboration and on-call support.

Qualifications

• High School Grad / GED required.
• 1.5+ years of experience.
• Valid Driver's License (NON CDL).

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain landfill GCCS; take gas reads, tune and repair LFG wellheads and piping.
• Coordinate with landfill partners to ensure GCCS reliability and compliance.
• Maintain GCCS records and input data into GCCS monitoring tools.
• Follow safety policies and company procedures.
• Monitor wellhead/header pressure and gas temperature.
• Available for on-call GCCS support as needed.
