Job summary

WM is seeking a Gas Operations Technician I in Minnesota to operate and maintain landfill gas collection and control systems. You will work under the Gas Operations Manager to ensure regulatory compliance and optimize system performance, including data collection and preventive maintenance.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and provides on-site field responsibilities in varying weather conditions. Training in WM Landfill Gas Technician I will be provided.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain GCCS to ensure regulatory compliance and optimize performance.
• Calibrate, operate and maintain data collection devices for LFG collection.
• Collect and manage data from wellfield extraction and environmental monitoring locations.
• Implement the GCCS preventative maintenance plan.
• On-call response to GCCS-related malfunction events.
