Job summary

Landfill Group, LLC is seeking a skilled individual to assist in the operation and maintenance of a landfill gas collection and control system (GCCS) at a site in North Carolina. Responsibilities include balancing and tuning GCCS, maintaining gas handling equipment, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires physical stamina for lifting up to 50 pounds, outdoor work in various weather, and the ability to respond to call-outs after hours. Safety training and PPE usage are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Outdoor work in varying weather and temperatures.
• Hazards include flammable gas, chemicals, electrical shock; PPE required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in balancing and tuning GCCS, including data collection and maintenance.
• Operate and maintain GCCS equipment (LFG flare(s), End-Use project such as ICEs).
• Perform preventative maintenance and calibrate data collection devices.
• Maintain condensate system, wells, valves and related equipment.
• Document PM maintenance and submit data for compliance and reporting.
• Remain on call 24/7 for off-hours shut downs and emergencies as directed.
• Maintain site security and safety, coordinate with vendors and visitors.
• Cross-train with Site Manager to ensure critical tasks can be completed when needed.
