Job summary

NextEra Energy Resources is hiring a Wellfield Technician II in Sacramento to operate and maintain the landfill gas collection system, take gas reads, tune equipment, and ensure regulatory compliance.

This role requires 1.5+ years of experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid non CDL driver’s license; further training in GCCS plans and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years of relevant experience required.
• MS Office proficiency (Word, Outlook, Excel) preferred.
• Valid non-CDL driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain landfill gas collection system (LFG) including gas reads, tuning, inspection and repair of LFG wellheads and piping.
• Collaborate with landfill partners to optimize GCCS performance and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain Wellfield records and input data into GCCS monitoring software.
• Follow safety policies and company procedures.
• Monitor wellhead/header pressure and gas temperature; manage data logs.
