Qualifications

• 5+ years in Land role for Oil & Gas industry (Upstream preferred).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Support Land Administration workflows for the Midland Title Analyst team.
• Create and route high volumes of inquiries, 1099s, and division orders.
• Maintain owner accounts and track division and transfer orders.
• Draft routine letters and owner communications; coordinate courthouse recordings.
• Conduct LexisNexis research, locate owners, verify records, and support ownership verification.
• Perform Tax Identification Number (TIN) matching for IRS compliance.
• Set up title opinions in the land system and ensure accurate data entry.
• Provide administrative support including scheduling meetings and travel.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking a Land Administration Assistant to provide support to the Midland Title Analyst team. They will ensure timely, accurate, and compliant Land Administration workflows. They will create and route high volumes of inquires to owner communication, eschear candidates, returned 1099s, and returned division orders to the appropriate title teams and analyst. They will create and update owner accounts within owner record database. Prepare, distribute, track, and monitor Division Orders and Transfer Orders. They will draft and process routine correspondence letters and owner communications, coordinate the recording of legal and land documents with county courthouses, perform LexisNexis and other research activities to locate owners, verify records, research obituaries, and support ownership verification efforts. They will complete Tax Identification Number (TIN) matching to ensure IRS compliance, review and set up title opinions in the land system, ensuring accurate data entry and record maintenance. Additionally, they will provide administrative support to Title Analysts and management, including scheduling meetings, coordinating travel arrangements, and managing departmental correspondence.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
