Job summary

RETTEW is seeking an experienced Land Development Project Manager and licensed Professional Engineer to join our Planning & Design practice as a Land Development Engineering Team Lead. You will guide and develop Project Managers and technical staff, oversee complex land development projects, and grow RETTEW's Land Development practice.

You will remain connected to technical work and key client relationships while developing future leaders, balancing project delivery with business development,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license with Pennsylvania licensure or eligibility via reciprocity.
• Demonstrated experience managing land development projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor Project Managers and technical staff, supporting professional development and team performance.
• Provide leadership and technical oversight for complex land development projects, ensuring quality, schedule, budget, and client satisfaction.
• Serve as a resource for project strategy, technical challenges, client engagement, and delivery decisions.
• Coordinate workload, staffing, and resource allocation across RETTEW offices and disciplines.
• Monitor financial performance, forecasting, workload, and operational metrics; address performance and opportunities with PMs.
• Maintain and strengthen client relationships and identify opportunities to expand RETTEW's services.
• Partner with Business Development to support proposals, pursuits, cross-selling, and client growth.
• Promote multidisciplinary collaboration and effective use of technical resources across the organization.
• Reinforce RETTEW's quality standards, policies, and expectations.
• Foster a team culture built on ownership, communication, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
