Job summary

RETTEW is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer III – Land Development to lead technical design on development projects from small redevelopments to complex sites. You’ll own significant technical portions, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to move projects from concept through permitting and construction.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Active PE license with ability to licensure for projects.
Extensive civil land development experience and site design.
Ability to lead civil design on land development projects and coordinate disciplines.

Responsibilities

Lead civil engineering design and analysis for land development projects.
Coordinate site layout, grading, stormwater, utilities, and site infrastructure.
Own significant technical portions from concept through permitting and construction.
Prepare calculations, plans, reports, and permit applications.
Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
Engage with municipalities and regulatory agencies on permitting.
