RETTEW is seeking a Civil Engineer III – Land Development to lead technical design on development projects from small redevelopments to complex, multi‑discipline sites.

You will own significant portions of design, mentor junior engineers, and coordinate with teams to move projects from concept through permitting and construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Active PE license with ability to obtain licensure for applicable states.
• Significant civil-land development experience and site design focus.
• Ability to independently lead design on development projects.
• Experience with grading, stormwater, utilities, and permitting.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil design and analysis for land development projects.
• Coordinate site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and erosion control.
• Own significant design portions from concept through construction support.
• Prepare calculations, plans, specs, and permit applications.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Engage with municipalities and clients to resolve permitting issues.
• Assist project managers with planning, scope, and budgets.
