Job summary

RK&K is seeking a motivated Land Development Project Manager to join our Richmond, VA office. In this leadership role you will manage land and site development projects across the Richmond metro area and Central Virginia, directing project teams to deliver on time and within budget.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in Civil Engineering, a VA PE or the ability to obtain one, and 8+ years of progressive land development design and engineering experience.

Qualifications

• BS Civil Engineering degree required.
• VA PE license or ability to obtain one preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive land development design and engineering experience.
• Experience managing staff and interacting with clients.
• Experience preparing proposals and scope changes.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management for land development projects including scope, budget, and schedule.
• Coordinate with clients to obtain feedback and direction.
• Direct project staff and sub-consultants.
• Review and certify engineering documents to meet QA/QC standards.
• Lead community outreach and client liaison activities.
• Facilitate internal and client meetings and plan approvals.
