Job summary

RK&K is seeking a motivated Land Development Project Manager to join our Richmond, VA office and lead land and site development projects across Central Virginia. You will manage project scope, budget, and schedule while guiding project teams and maintaining client relationships.

The role requires a BS in Civil Engineering and PE licensure (VA preferred or obtainable). 8–10 years of land development experience and a strong background in permit processes, AutoCAD C3D, HydraFlow, and HydroCAD

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering required.
• VA PE or ability to obtain one preferred.
• 8–10 years of progressive land development design/engineering experience.
• Experience managing staff and interacting with clients.
• Experience preparing proposals & add services for scope changes.
• Expert knowledge of permit processes in authorities having jurisdiction.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint; AutoCAD C3D.
• Experience with HydraFlow, HydroCAD, Storm & Sanitary Analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management of scope, budget, and schedule for land development projects.
• Coordinate with clients to discuss progress and obtain feedback.
• Perform engineering tasks and provide direction to staff.
• Organize project teams and supervise staff and sub consultants.
• Review and certify engineering documents to meet QC goals.
• Lead community outreach tasks and client meetings.
