Job summary

RK&K is seeking a motivated Land Development Project Manager to join our Richmond, VA team. You will lead land/site development projects across the Richmond metropolitan area and Central Virginia, guiding project teams and coordinating with clients.

Eligible for relocation assistance and a sign-on bonus, plus annual bonus based on performance. This leadership role requires Civil Engineering credentials and experience managing multi-disciplinary teams, with strong permitting knowledge and client

Qualifications

• Requires a B.S. in Civil Engineering and PE registration or ability to obtain one.
• Minimum eight (10 preferred) years of progressive land development experience.
• Experience leading staff and coordinating with clients.
• Experience preparing proposals and changes in scope.
• Deep knowledge of permitting processes in local authorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage land development projects including scope, budget, and schedule.
• Coordinate with clients to discuss progress and direction.
• Provide engineering direction to staff and review documents.
• Organize teams and supervise staff and sub consultants.
• Lead meetings, presentations, and plan approvals.
