Job summary

Consor is seeking a Land Development Project Engineer in Austin to lead site development planning and design for residential and mixed-use projects. You will coordinate with clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies through entitlement, permitting, and approvals, while managing scopes, budgets, and schedules.

Mentorship of junior engineers and collaboration across disciplines are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Technology.
• PE license.
• 4+ years of land development engineering experience.
• Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D for design.
• Valid TX driver's license with good driving record.
• Experience coordinating with CAD drafting and design teams.
• Deep understanding of land development planning and entitlement processes.
• Modeling and design of pipe networks, street corridors, lot layouts, grading, drainage, and water quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and preparation of site development plans (grading, drainage, utilities, roadways, erosion control).
• Collaborate with clients, developers, municipalities, and agencies through entitlement, permitting, and approval processes.
• Manage multiple projects: scopes of work, budgets, schedules, subconsultants, challenges.
• Perform design analyses, calculations, reports, docs, and cost estimates per regs and client needs.
• Conduct QA reviews of plans, calculations, and deliverables for accuracy and constructability.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and designers, fostering growth.
