Job summary

Consor is seeking a Land Development Project Engineer in Austin, TX to lead planning, design, and execution of residential and community developments from concept to construction.

You will manage site civil designs (grading, drainage, utilities, roads), coordinate with clients and agencies, guide scopes, budgets, and schedules, and mentor junior staff while delivering high-quality, compliant solutions that create lasting value for communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Civil Engineering; PE license preferred
• 4+ years land development engineering experience
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D for design tasks
• Strong understanding of entitlements, permitting, and regulatory processes
• Excellent communication and project coordination skills

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and preparation of site development plans (grading, drainage, utilities, roads)
• Coordinate with clients, developers, municipalities, and agencies through entitlement and approval processes
• Manage multiple projects, scopes, budgets, and schedules; coordinate subconsultants
• Perform design calculations, technical reports, and cost estimations; ensure regulatory compliance
• Conduct quality control reviews of plans and deliverables
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and designers
