Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Land Development Manager to lead the division’s land development program across the South Bay and beyond, including roadway, utilities, earthwork, landscape, and public utility coordination. You will guide project delivery from entitlement through final certification, working with Area Construction Managers and senior leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in land development.
• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, project scheduling and data management software.
• Detail-oriented and problem-solver capable of handling complex situations.
• Travel required - work is in the South Bay and beyond.
• Valid Driver's License with good driving record and valid auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee timely delivery of new projects using schedules, budgets, and permit compliance.
• Collaborate with Area Construction Managers and Director of Construction to deliver ready-to-build sites.
• Assist in development budgets during entitlement and value-engineer design aspects.
• Liaise with jurisdictional entities to maintain land-use rights.
• Manage field operations including erosion control, grading, utilities, paving, and landscaping.
• Oversee HOA activities, budget analysis, and improvements to common spaces.
• Manage bond maintenance and guaranties used by the division.
• Coordinate with departments to deliver amenities and ensure appropriate marketing windows.
• Ensure SWPPP compliance and regular budget reconciliations with the Director of Development.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Land Development.
