Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Land Development Manager to oversee the South Bay land development program, including roadway, utilities, earthwork, and amenities. The role covers Newark, Milpitas, Sunnyvale, and nearby areas, with focus on delivering ready-to-build sites and maintaining compliance with permits and budgets.

The position requires a Bachelor’s or related field, 5+ years in land development, travel to sites, and a valid driver’s license. Competitive compensation and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in land development.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or similar program preferred.
• Travel required - work is in the South Bay (and further south)

Responsibilities

• Deliver successful and timely completion of new projects using schedules, budgets, environmental and permitting requirements.
• Collaborate with Area Construction Managers and Director of Construction to hand over ready-to-build home sites.
• Assist in development budgets during entitlement process and value-engineer design elements.
• Develop relationships with jurisdictional entities to maintain land use and development rights.
• Oversee permits through to construction, final certification and community turnover.
• Manage field operations incl. erosion control, grading, utilities, paving, landscaping, and post-construction as-builts.
