Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Land Development Manager in the South Bay area to lead the division’s land development program, directing roadway, utilities, earthwork, and site development from permits through turnover. The role coordinates with construction management to deliver ready-to-build communities.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of 5 years in land development, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and strong project budgeting, scheduling, and regulatory compliance skills. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in land development.
• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, project scheduling, and data management software.
• Detail-oriented and a problem-solver capable of handling complex situations.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the land development program to ensure timely delivery of new projects.
• Collaborate with Area Construction Managers and Director of Construction to deliver ready-to-build home sites.
• Assist in creating development budgets during entitlement and value-engineer design aspects.
• Develop relationships with jurisdictional entities while maintaining land use rights.
• Oversee permits, site work, erosion control, utilities, paving, and landscaping through construction completion.
• Manage HOA activities, budgets, and common area improvements.
• Ensure SWPPP compliance and budget reconciliation with the Director of Development.
• Support marketing, amenity, and recreation center delivery as needed.
