Job summary

Lennar in California seeks a Land Development Manager to lead the division’s land development program, directing roadway, utilities, earthwork, and public utility coordination to deliver ready-to-build home sites.

You will work with Area Construction Managers and Director of Construction, help develop development budgets during entitlement, and ensure compliance from permits through community turnover, including HOA and bond management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or similar program preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in land development.
• Travel required - work is in the South Bay (and further south).
• Valid Driver’s License and good driving record; auto insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely delivery of new projects using schedules, budgets, and permits.
• Collaborate with Area Construction Managers and Director of Construction to ready home sites.
• Assist in development budgets during entitlement and value-engineer design aspects.
• Coordinate with jurisdictional entities to preserve land use rights.
• Oversee field operations from permit to community turnover.
• Manage HOA activities, bond maintenance, and community amenities deliveries.
• SWPPP management and compliance.
• Review budgets with Director of Development for reconciliation.
