Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Land Development Manager to lead the division's land development program across the South Bay, including Newark, Milpitas, Sunnyvale, Saratoga, Morgan Hill, and Gilroy. You will direct roadway construction, water/sewer installation, earthworks, and public utility coordination, ensuring timely delivery of ready-to-build home sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or similar program preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in land development.
• Computer literacy including word processing, spreadsheets, scheduling, and data management software.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely delivery of new projects using schedules, budgets, reports, and plans.
• Collaborate with Area Construction Managers and Director of Construction to deliver ready-to-build sites.
• Assist in development budgets during entitlement and value-engineering design.
• Develop relationships with jurisdictional entities while maintaining land use rights.
• Oversee field operations from permit to community turnover.
• Manage erosion control, utilities, paving, landscaping, and amenities on site.
