Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Land Development Manager to oversee the division's land development program, directing roadway, water/sewer, earthwork, and utilities, with responsibilities from entitlements to community turnover across the South Bay area.

You will collaborate with Area Construction Managers and the Director of Construction to deliver ready-to-build sites, develop budgets during entitlements, and ensure compliance with permits and SWPPP requirements while managing field operations and HOA

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or similar program preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in land development.
• Travel required - work is in the South Bay (and further south).
• Valid Driver’s License and good driving record.
• Valid auto insurance coverage required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects on time using schedules, budgets, environmental studies, and permit compliance.
• Collaborate with Area Construction Managers and Director of Construction to deliver ready-to-build sites.
• Assist in development budgets during entitlements and value-engineer project design aspects.
• Develop relationships with jurisdictional entities while maintaining land-use rights.
• Oversee field operations including erosion control, grading, utilities, paving, and landscaping.
• Manage HOA activities, budgets, and common open space improvements.
• Oversee bond maintenance and retrieval of guaranties; ensure SWPPP compliance.
