Job summary

Lennar in Hoover, AL is seeking a Land Development Manager to lead the division's land development program, directing roadways, utilities, earthwork and environmental coordination to deliver ready-to-build home sites.

You will work with Area Construction Managers, manage development budgets, review permits, counsel on scope and value-engineering, and ensure compliance from permit to turnover, with a focus on zero-defect homes and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or similar preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in land development.
• Proficient computer literacy and data management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance are required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects on time using schedules, budgets, and permit compliance.
• Collaborate with Area Construction Managers to deliver build-ready sites.
• Assist in development budgets during entitlement and value-engineering.
• Oversee field operations including erosion control, utilities, paving, and landscaping.
• Manage HOA activities, budgets, and common area improvements.
