Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Land Development Manager to oversee the Division’s land development program, directing roadway, water/sewer, earthwork, landscape, and utility coordination. You’ll work with area managers to deliver ready-to-build home sites, help develop entitlements budgets, and manage budgets with the Director of Land Development.

Strong leadership and regulatory liaison skills are essential. The role requires at least 5 years in land development, a bachelor’s degree, and solid

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or similar program preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in land development.
• Computer literacy including word processing, spreadsheets, scheduling and data management software.
• Detail-oriented and a problem-solver able to handle complex situations.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record, valid auto insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure successful and timely delivery of new projects using schedules, budgets and permit compliance.
• Collaborate with Area Construction Managers and Director of Construction to deliver ready-to-build sites.
• Assist in development budgets during entitlement and value-engineer design aspects.
• Develop relationships with jurisdictions to maintain land-use rights.
• Oversee permits through construction, plats, final certifications and turnover.
• Manage field operations for land development including erosion control, utilities, paving, landscaping, and amenities.
