Halff in Houston, TX is offering a Land Development Intern position on our Land Development team. As an Civil Engineering Intern you will assist with the design and construction observation for a range of public and private infrastructure projects under a Professional Engineer.

The internship runs June 7, 2027 through August 13, 2027. You will perform CAD drafting, prepare plans, specifications and cost estimates for Water/Wastewater, Public Works and Land Development projects, and coordinate

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Self-motivated with good organization
• Interest in design and construction observation for land development

Responsibilities

• Design civil engineering projects under supervision of a Professional Engineer
• Assist in preparing plans, specifications, and cost estimates for Water/Wastewater, Public Works, and Land Development projects
• Perform drafting CAD work
• Perform calculations and analysis for design projects
• Assist in permit applications and regulatory documents
• Coordinate with surveyors, architects, and contractors
• Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies
