Job summary

Halff invites a Land Development Intern to join our Frisco, TX team for hands-on civil engineering experience on public and private infrastructure projects including roadways, drainage, site work, and parks. The internship runs from June 7, 2027 to August 13, 2027, with full-time hours and hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or ABET-equivalent program.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Self-motivated with good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Design civil engineering projects under supervision of a Professional Engineer.
• Assist in preparing plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Perform drafting CAD work.
• Carry out calculations and analyses for design projects.
• Assist in permit applications and regulatory documents.
• Coordinate with surveyors, architects, and contractors.
• Attend client and regulatory agency meetings.
