Bohler's Atlanta, GA office is seeking a motivated Civil Engineering Intern (Land Development) eager to learn, grow, and contribute to real-world site design projects. As a Spring 2027 intern, you will gain insight into daily operations of a civil engineering firm and understand the complete site development process, from concept to construction.

Qualifications

Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Civil, Environmental, Biosystems Engineering, or a related field.
Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D (training provided if not yet proficient).
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
A self-starter attitude with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

Experience the day-to-day operations of a civil engineering and site design firm.
Learn the stages of the land development and site design process.
Enhance your technical skills with AutoCAD Civil 3D to design concept plans.
Prepare grading, stormwater, utility, and erosion control plans.
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to drive projects forward.
Visit sites to observe field conditions and learn the engineering process.
Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to design and process improvements.
