Job summary

AVCON, INC. seeks an Engineer, Land Development in Orlando, FL to support infrastructure planning, site development, stormwater design, and utility system design.

You will assist with entitlements, permit applications, and construction oversight, collaborating with a design team and clients. The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and 2–5 years of experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, and knowledge of StormWise and hydraulic software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 2-5 years' experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Working knowledge of StormWise and EPANET/WaterCAD/StormCAD.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, MS Excel, and MS Word.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design elements to complete projects with clear objectives.
• Prepare complete project documentation including plans, specs, and estimates.
• Evaluate standard techniques and solve problems with guidance.
• Plan and coordinate detailed aspects of engineering work across multiple projects.
• Assist with project scopes, tasks, budgets, and schedules.
• Assist with proposals, bid documents, reports, and studies.
• Interact with clients, contractors, and project team members.
• Attend meetings and present engineering aspects of assignments.
