Job summary

AVCON, INC. is seeking a Land Development Project Manager, Civil Engineer to lead site-development projects from proposal through construction in our Orlando/DeLand, Florida offices.

You will oversee technical aspects, quality control, and coordination with engineers and sub-consultants to deliver on time and within budget. A bachelor’s or master’s in civil engineering and 7+ years’ experience, plus proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, StormWise, and KYPipe, are required.

Qualifications

• Requires a Civil Engineer degree and 7+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, StormWise, and KYPipe.
• Strong MS Outlook, Excel, and Word skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage site-development projects from proposal to construction.
• Ensure design documents meet quality standards and contract requirements.
• Prepare project documentation including plans, specs, and estimates.
• Coordinate engineers and sub-consultants across disciplines.
• Develop proposals, scopes, budgets, and schedules.
• Participate in client meetings and scope changes as needed.
