Job summary

Atwell, LLC is seeking a civil/structural designer to collaborate on residential, commercial, and industrial projects. You will design site plans, perform grading studies, and help prepare cost estimates, utilities sizing, and storm water analyses.

You will assist in final drawings, permit applications, and client communications while coordinating with multiple disciplines and attending meetings as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited four‑year college or university.
• 3+ years of experience in design/construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Design site plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
• Prepare conceptual grading analyses and site layouts.
• Compute or prepare due diligence reports, costs, utility/work calculations, and storm water reports.
• Assist in production of final construction drawings and permit applications.
• Support project managers and communicate with clients on project specifics.
• Collaborate with multiple disciplines on multi‑discipline projects.
• Attend client and public meetings during days or evenings.
• Participate in business development activities as requested.
