Job summary

Atwell, LLC is seeking a Project Engineer to lead civil design efforts on land development and energy projects. You will oversee budgets, schedules, and technical deliverables, mentoring junior staff and coordinating with clients and municipalities.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, a PE license, and 4+ years of experience with site design, grading, hydraulics, and stormwater. Strong communication and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• PE License is required.
• 4+ years of experience in civil engineering.
• Experience with reports (soil, storm water, wetlands, FEMA, etc.) and knowledge of local market preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct project team on assignments and provide training and support.
• Recommend and implement design changes (grading, utilities) per client needs.
• Collaborate with teams and clients to prepare project proposals and keep stakeholders informed.
• Prepare site plans, reports, and cost opinions; conduct hydrology/hydraulic studies and permit applications.
• Assist in field operations, review permit apps, and guide junior staff on construction documents.
