Job summary

Atwell, LLC is seeking a design-focused engineer to collaborate with project teams on residential, commercial, and industrial developments. You will design site plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D, perform grading analyses, and prepare utility and stormwater designs.

You will support permitting, contribute to cost estimates, attend client meetings, and coordinate with other disciplines. A bachelor’s degree in engineering and 3+ years of experience are required; willingness to work nights or weekends as

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
• 3+ years of experience in engineering or related field.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design site plans utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Prepare conceptual grading analyses and site layout.
• Prepare and compute due diligence/site analysis reports and stormwater/earthwork calculations.
• Assist in production of final construction drawings and permit applications.
• Support project managers and communicate with clients on projects.
• Coordinate with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
• Attend client and public meetings as needed (days or evenings).
• Participate in business development efforts as requested.
