Job summary

Atwell, LLC is seeking a design professional to collaborate with team members on residential, commercial, and industrial projects. You will work on conceptual site layouts, utilities, storm design, and related permitting and construction support, with a planned 2026 start.

You will design site plans with AutoCAD Civil 3D, perform grading analyses, calculate costs, and assist with client communications while supporting project managers and other disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
• 3+ years related experience.
• Fluent in English.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willing to work nights and weekends to complete projects as necessary.
• Proficient in MS Office; AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Designs site plans utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Prepares conceptual grading analyses and site layout.
• Prepares and computes due diligence/site analysis reports, engineer opinions of probable costs, utility computations, detention/retention computations, storm water reports, earthwork analysis.
• Assists in production of final construction drawings.
• Prepares permit applications for applicable municipal agencies.
• Assists project managers as requested.
• Assists with client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects.
• Works closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
• Attends client and public meetings—days or evenings.
• Participates in business development efforts as requested.
