Job summary

Atwell, LLC is seeking a civil engineer/designer to collaborate with project teams on residential, commercial, and industrial sites in Dallas. You will design site plans, perform grading analyses, and assist with permitting and client communication.

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office is valued; a degree in engineering and 2+ years’ experience are required. The role involves multi-disciplinary coordination, meetings with clients, and potential travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
• 2+ years of experience.
• Must be fluent in the English language.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Designs site plans utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Prepares conceptual grading analyses and site layout.
• Prepares and computes due diligence/site analysis reports, engineer opinion of probable costs, utility computations, detention/retention computations, storm water reports, earthwork analysis.
• Assists in production of final construction drawings.
• Prepares permit applications for applicable municipal agencies.
• Assists project managers as requested.
• Assists with client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects.
• Works closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
• Attends client and public meetings- days or evenings.
• Participates in business development efforts as requested.
