Job summary

ADB Companies, LLC is seeking a Laborer II to support outside plant installation on utility construction sites across the country. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and a proactive ALL IN attitude to complete projects efficiently.

The Laborer II will operate heavy equipment with supervision, assist with site setup and closeout tasks, and read construction prints. Nationwide travel is required; a valid driver's license is preferred and CDL is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of utility construction experience.
• 6+ months of equipment operating experience (Drill, Hydro, Mini, Bucket Truck).
• Valid driver’s license; ability to drive a company vehicle preferred.
• Class A CDL License preferred.
• Competent Person and OSHA 10 certifications preferred (ability to obtain within 6 months).
• High School diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Performs general manual labor in all weather conditions including digging, installing utilities, moving materials.
• Supports crew with jobsite setup and closeout tasks such as loading/unloading trucks and setting up cones.
• Can operate one or more heavy equipment types (directional drill, mini excavator, hydro truck, bucket truck) with limited guidance.
• Meets production expectations as directed by Foreman or management.
• Reads prints and construction drawings; participates in safety activities and training.
• Provides training and support to entry level laborers to ensure safety and compliance.
