Job summary

ADB Companies, LLC is seeking a Laborer II to provide outside plant installation support on utility construction projects nationwide.

You will operate equipment (directional drill, mini excavator, hydro truck, bucket truck) with safety and quality in mind, and contribute to a culture of “ALL IN.” Requirements include 1+ year utility construction experience, 6+ months equipment operation, a valid driver's license (CDL preferred), and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of utility construction experience required.
• 6+ months of equipment operating experience on Drill, Hydro, Mini, or Bucket Truck.
• Valid driver’s license; Class A CDL preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred (ability to obtain within 6 months).

Responsibilities

• Perform general manual labor in various weather conditions, including digging, utility installation, material handling, traffic control.
• Support crew with jobsite setup and closeout tasks such as loading/unloading trucks and equipment prep.
• Operate heavy equipment (directional drill, mini excavator, hydro truck, bucket truck) with guidance.
• Meet production expectations set by Foreman and management.
• Train with experienced operators to learn installations and safety practices.
• Read prints and construction drawings; locate utilities under supervision.
• Document daily reports and participate in safety assessments.
• Provide training to entry-level laborers and perform other duties as needed.
