Job summary

ADB Companies, LLC is hiring a Laborer II to support outside plant installation on utility construction projects across the region. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and a strong ALL IN attitude provided by an experienced Foreman. Travel nationwide is expected.

The position requires 1+ year in utility construction, 6+ months equipment operation, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma with CDL and OSHA 10 preferred. This is a non-exempt, on-site role with physical demands.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of utility construction experience required.
• 6+ months of equipment operating experience (drill, hydro, mini, bucket truck) required.
• Valid driver’s license; Class A CDL strongly preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Competent Person and OSHA 10 certifications strongly preferred (ability to obtain within 6 months).

Responsibilities

• Performs general manual labor in all weather conditions, including digging and material handling.
• Supports crew with jobsite setup and closeout tasks (loading/unloading trucks, setting up cones, etc).
• Can operate one or more heavy equipment types with guidance (directional drill, mini excavator, hydro truck, bucket truck).
• Reads prints and construction drawings accurately.
• Engages in safety training and implements safety procedures on site.
• Provides on-site training support to entry level laborers for compliance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
