Job description

Position Summary: Works day-to-day on assigned plumbing, fire protection, or other related tasks. Assists with all project work, including lifting, carrying, sorting, loading, unloading materials, and cleaning job areas. Creates a positive work environment that maintains a qualified workforce. Operates under specific supervision and performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Attends all job site and office meetings related to assigned tasks, prepared to handle issues that may arise. Completes all forms, revisions, and requests for tools, equipment, or materials as required.
• Provides labor needed for the specific job site efficiently and promptly.
• Prioritizes safety and safety practices during all tasks.
• Ensures quality and profitability of each project by minimizing waste in materials and labor.
• Willing to learn the trade and assist as needed.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience or qualifications in construction or plumbing is helpful.
• General carpentry experience preferred.
• Ability to use basic tools such as hammers and tape measures.
• Honest, reliable, dependable, and good character.

Education:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Physical Requirements:

• Correctable eyesight to 20/50.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Able to lift and climb ladders and scaffolds.
• Lift items weighing up to 60 lbs.
• Capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Not afraid of heights.

Special Requirements:

• Must provide own basic hand tools.
