Additional Qualifications / Requirements

SOFA RELATED REQUIREMENTS / ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS: Applications are accepted from all locally available U.S. citizens without dual Japanese and U.S. citizenship. U.S. citizens with Japanese residency must cancel their residency status to be eligible for employment under SOFA, which grants benefits like exemption from Japanese taxes, duty-free shopping, and others. However, having SOFA status also entails representing the U.S. in Japan and maintaining conduct that reflects positively on the U.S. and the Exchange. Off-base misconduct, especially criminal, can lead to separation from employment.

Responsibilities include :

• Opening / closing the facility and safe; Deposit delivery / change fund pick-up; Ordering and receiving
• Current associates with NACI / T1 Clearance preferred
• Vacancy posted on both US and LN sides

Salary Range

Minimum: $17.25

Maximum: $21.32

Major Duties

• Ensures a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service, greeting customers, assessing needs, suggesting options, and building trust to deliver a personalized experience.
• Leads and trains associates to ensure they are equipped to provide excellent service, including product knowledge and sales skills.
• Maintains product presentation standards, manages loss prevention, and ensures compliance with safety and security regulations.
• Communicates performance expectations, provides feedback, and recommends development opportunities.
• May operate sales equipment, handle transactions, and verify tenders with accuracy.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
