Join to apply for the Laboratory Technician - Night Shift role at Darigold.

Darigold is looking for a Laboratory Technician for our Portland location. The role involves ensuring that all products' analytical, microbiological, and organoleptic properties meet product and regulatory specifications.

What You Will Do

• Ensure that all products' analytical, micro, and organoleptic properties follow specifications, and communicate test results to Lab Supervisor, Director, and management as necessary.
• Immediately contact your Supervisor when products do not meet specifications and recommend process adjustments.
• Obtain samples of finished products, raw, and pasteurized ingredients for testing, ensuring equipment calibration and testing accuracy according to standards.

What You Bring

• High school diploma; Bachelor's degree in a science discipline preferred.

Nice to Have

• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to plan, organize, and perform analytical and micro tests that align with standards.
• Basic microbiology knowledge.

Expected Schedule

Wednesday through Saturday, 10 pm to 8:30 am PST (four 10-hour shifts). Schedule may change.
