Implant-Diffusion Equipment Maintenance Technician - Night Shift - South Portland, ME

Job Overview

Diodes Incorporated is seeking experienced Equipment Maintenance Technicians interested in night shifts to join our South Portland, Maine facility. This position requires a flexible schedule and the willingness to work rotating 12-hour shifts, 3 nights on / 3 nights off.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on ASM Epsilon 2000 EPI reactors, atmospheric and LPCVD diffusion furnaces, TEL automated wet benches, and TEL SiC Probus reactors.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and implement continuous improvements on equipment.
• Work safely around chemicals, toxic gases, acids, solvents, high voltage, and kinetic energy hazards.

Shift Details

• Night shift with a 15% shift differential.
• Hours: 6:00pm to 6:00am, 3 nights on / 3 nights off.
• Initial training may occur during daytime hours, 8:00am to 5:00pm, for up to 52 weeks.

Work Environment

• Performed within a clean room requiring protective clothing and PPE, including respirators if necessary.
• Requires standing for up to 75% of the shift and lifting objects up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technologies, Electromechanical Technologies, or equivalent military or relevant experience.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical and vacuum systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and use digital multimeters.
• Comfort handling chemicals and gases, including toxic and corrosive substances.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to protocols.

• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
• Flexibility to work outside normal hours and cross-train in other areas.
