Job summary

The Laboratory Technician I at Eurofins USA Genomic Services in Louisville, KY, reports to the Laboratory Manager or Team Lead. You will perform assigned tests and calibrations while ensuring adherence to quality systems, procedures, and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or coursework in Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or related field preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and SOPs in a regulated lab.
• Aptitude for precise, repetitive tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Willingness to work overtime, alternate shifts, weekends or holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Works effectively with team members and maintains timely, accurate records.
• Keeps equipment and workspace clean and organized.
• Follows safety and regulatory policies, including PPE usage.
• Completes on-site training and contributes to quality system compliance.
