Job summary

Eurofins USA Food Testing is seeking a Laboratory Technician I to perform and document laboratory testing on incoming samples, enter data into the eLIMS system, and ensure turnaround times are met. The role reports to the Laboratory Supervisor, requires a HS Diploma, and offers full-time benefits.

The position is a Tues-Sat shift (3:00pm–11:30pm Tue-Fri; 1:00pm–9:30pm Saturday). Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship is required, with overtime and weekend work expected as

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and promotes the company vision.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Adhere to management system requirements and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow health and safety regulations.
• Register incoming samples and maintain accurate daily records.
• Enter sample data into the eLIMS system accurately.
• Complete laboratory testing and ensure timely turnaround.
• Verify results and communicate to appropriate personnel.
• Identify issues and propose solutions to the supervisor.
• Maintain cooperative relationships and effective communication with staff.

Education

HS Diploma

AS or BS Degree in Microbiology, Food Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry or related field
