Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) in North Kingstown, RI is seeking a Laboratory Technician I to support laboratory operations with general methods and QA procedures. You will assist with sample retrieval and preparation, learn the LIMS system, and help maintain accurate records and labeling.

The role is full-time, Monday–Friday 1:30 pm–10:00 pm, with a pay range of $18–$20 per hour plus a 5% shift differential for 2nd shift. Benefits are provided according to status.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; chemistry coursework preferred.
• Basic laboratory experience preferred; ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve samples from Sample Control for analysis.
• Perform sample preparation including aliquoting, spiking, and preparing reagents.
• Learn and use Eurofins Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Resolve discrepancies to ensure proper labeling of samples.
• Prepare general lab paperwork and keep bench sheets and logbooks.
• Wash glassware and stock laboratory supplies.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and assist other lab areas as needed.
