Job summary

Eurofins Genomics is seeking a Facility & Laboratory Equipment Maintenance Technician in Louisville, KY to maintain the building, infrastructure, and laboratory infrastructure within a cGMP/ISO environment. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, calibration, and reliable operation of lab instrumentation.

You will perform repairs, manage work orders, and coordinate with external vendors while upholding safety and regulatory standards to minimize downtime and ensure compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Electronics, Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Technology, Facilities Maintenance, or related field.
• Experience maintaining industrial or laboratory equipment; cGMP/ISO environment a plus.
• Proficiency in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting; CMMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance and general facility upkeep.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory and production equipment including oligo synthesizers and HPLC.
• Follow cGMP/ISO regulations and maintain records.
• Operate forklift and assist with equipment installation/calibration.
• Document work orders and maintain compliance records.
