Job summary

Eurofins USA Food Testing is seeking a Laboratory Technician I for 2nd shift (Monday–Friday, 3:00pm–11:30pm). The role supports testing and data entry, ensures quality and safety compliance, and maintains accurate records in a fast-paced lab environment.

The position requires a AS/BS in Microbiology or related field, willingness to work overtime, and US work authorization. Benefits include medical coverage, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Overtime, weekends and holidays willingness.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• AS/BS degree in Microbiology, Food Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry or related field.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and promotes the company vision.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Adhere to ISO/IEC 17025/AOAC ALACC and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Register incoming samples and keep accurate records.
• Enter data into the eLIMS system accurately.
• Complete laboratory testing and meet turnaround goals.
• Verify results and report to appropriate personnel.
• Identify process issues and propose solutions to supervisor.
• Communicate with clients and co-workers.
• Promote ethical business practices and improve quality.
• Identify non-conformances and out-of-specifications.
• Perform duties safely and as assigned.
