Job summary

Onvida Health is seeking a Medical Technologist Supervisor to lead the Laboratory section across automated testing, microbiology, blood bank, and pathology. You will supervise staff on the second and third shifts, ensure staffing coverage, and participate in the Laboratory Management Team.

You will ensure rapid, accurate test results, maintain records, and drive compliance with CAP, DNV, CLIA, and other accrediting agencies, while guiding technicians and students in techniques and instrument use.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent training with 3+ years of experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist.
• MLS (ASCP) or equivalent certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Laboratory section (Automated Testing, Microbiology, Blood Bank, Pathology) and coordinate staff scheduling and training.
• Provide technical instructions and guidance to technicians/technologists and assistants.
• Ensure compliance with CAP, DNV, CLIA and other accrediting agencies; maintain quality control and LIS functions.
