Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Lab Administration leader to plan, organize and manage the hospital's laboratory services, ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance across the campus. You will lead staff, develop policies, and drive performance against the balanced scorecard while collaborating with nursing and physician teams.

The role demands strategic oversight, budget responsibility, and active participation in system-wide initiatives to advance patient care and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• ASCP certification or equivalent is preferred.
• Lean and Six Sigma experience or certification.
• 5 years of management experience in a diverse laboratory setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Laboratory Services across campus.
• Collaborate with nursing, medical staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, CAP, CLIA, TJC, OSHA, CMS.
• Recruit, train and retain qualified staff; mentor for succession.
• Manage operating and capital budgets; monitor variances and drive cost efficiency.
