Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Sales Representative for Lab Products & Distribution in New Jersey. You will grow Cardinal Health Brand and distribution services in hospital and independent labs, delivering a broad portfolio and building strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities include territory management, new business development, and coordinating with national accounts. Travel within NJ is required; a valid driver's license is necessary, with potential regional travel and participation in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• Previous successful sales experience in distribution or healthcare preferred; lab experience beneficial.
• Lives within the managed territory (within 30 minutes of largest prime vendors).
• Experience with Microsoft applications and CRM tools (Salesforce).
• Understanding of the sales process in a fast-paced, complex environment; willingness to cold-call.
• Candidate must be able to travel ~4–6 overnights per month; valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Manage a large territory to increase account penetration and customer satisfaction in the lab space.
• Drive new business and growth across lab products portfolio and distribution services.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners within national accounts and vendors to achieve results.
• Lead territory management: account planning, selling processes, post-sales implementation, deal Economics.
• Negotiate contracts locally, including costing agreements with manufacturers; ensure service levels and contract integrity.
• Provide product demonstrations and staff trainings; support customers with back-orders and service issues.
