Job summary

Faculty Physicians Inc. is seeking a Laboratory Patient Service Center Manager in Baltimore, MD.

This on-site, full-time role reports to Laboratory Services and supports clinical functions, business office and administrative operations of a Patient Service Center. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 2-3 years of supervisory experience, and phlebotomy/processing experience within a medical office setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2-3 years supervisory experience
• Phlebotomy and processing experience required
• Previous experience working in a medical office setting

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and integrates services within the department with other departments, and with the System’s primary functions.
• Continuously assesses and improves the department’s performance.
• Actively utilizes improvement strategies and tools to positively impact all aspects of operations.
• Manages all on-site activities to promote patient satisfaction and welfare at the site.
• Ensures cash collections and reconciliation processes follow FPI policies.
• Communicates operational issues for timely resolution.
• Establishes service recovery protocols; trains staff to address patient concerns.
