Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking a Laboratory Operations / Inventory Coordinator in Ridgefield, CT. The role supports DMPK operations, handling reagents and materials, inventory management, and international shipments within a 12-month engagement.

Responsibilities include maintaining freezer organization, updating tracking systems, and ensuring regulatory compliance for shipping reference standards and biological materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent technical training.
• Experience in inventory management within a laboratory setting.
• Proficiency with Excel and Office applications for data tracking.

Responsibilities

• Support dispensing, tracking, storage, and shipment of reagents and lab materials for bioanalytical assays.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments of reagents and biological materials.
• Manage freezer organization, space allocation and periodic inventory checks.
• Maintain inventory databases, spreadsheets, and electronic tracking systems.
• Prepare shipping docs and ensure packaging, labeling and regulatory compliance.

Pay Rate: $26.18/hr
Duration: 12 Months, Potential Extension
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Job Description

• Support DMPK operations involving dispensing, tracking, storage, and shipment of reagents and laboratory materials used in bioanalytical assays.

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments of reagents, matrices, reference standards, and biological materials.

• Manage freezer organization, space allocation, and periodic inventory verification.

• Maintain inventory databases, spreadsheets, and electronic tracking systems.

• Prepare shipping documentation and ensure proper packaging, labeling, and regulatory compliance.

• Support permits and renewals related to shipment and clearance of reference standards and biological materials.

• Assist with laboratory equipment maintenance and freezer management as needed.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific or technical field.

Required Skills

• Laboratory operations or inventory management experience.

• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office/Outlook.

• Experience maintaining inventory databases or tracking systems.

• Experience handling laboratory reagents, materials, or biological samples.
