Job summary

You will lead a team, train staff, and collaborate with leadership to advance the laboratory's goals and patient outcomes in a dynamic clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to follow safety policies and PPE usage in a lab setting.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory standards (DNV/CLIA/OSHA/CAP) and accreditation processes.
• Experience leading a laboratory team and coordinating workflows.
• Proficient in English communication with diverse staff and patients.
• Ability to plan, monitor budgets, and drive quality initiatives.
• Track record of data collection, metrics, and performance improvement.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies including PPE, handwashing, and hazardous waste handling; complete training.
• Oversee lab staff scheduling to align with workload and reduce overtime.
• Lead performance improvement activities and improve patient satisfaction and safety.
• Manage budgeting, department metrics, quality initiatives, and inventory/labor costs.
• Ensure compliance with accrediting bodies and regulatory standards.
• Read and interpret complex test results, provide ongoing staff training on procedures.
